Hardwired Smoke Detectors with 10-Year Battery Backup
JMC Electric offers installation of hardwired smoke detectors with sealed 10-year battery backup for homes with existing hardwired alarm locations. The backup battery is designed to keep the alarm operating during a power outage without routine battery replacement or low-battery chirps. At the end of the alarm’s service life, the entire unit is replaced.
The alarm shown in the flyer has a test/reset button, a status light, and a hush feature for temporarily silencing nuisance alarms. If you are replacing older hardwired detectors, call us to discuss your existing setup and the number of locations in your home.
Review the Installation Requirements
The linked flyer lists a price of $155 per alarm installed. It states that the offer requires existing hardwired installation and a minimum of five locations. It also lists an additional $160 trip fee, a ceiling height limit of 10 feet, and no additional discounts or transfers. Because the flyer is dated September 2023, please call to confirm current pricing and availability before scheduling.
Ask About Smoke Detector Installation
Smoke detector placement depends on the home’s layout and applicable requirements. Tell JMC Electric how many existing alarm locations you have and whether you are replacing detectors or planning other electrical work. We can discuss the installation and answer questions about the alarm featured in the flyer.
